This is where your role comes into Literal. Project E.M.A.I.L. allows you to help us make Literal season 2 by sending us a email. Go to the Project Email page and use the contact form to say you support Literal and our ministry. Then give us a covenant pledge as to how much financial support you could give to help us finish Literal What We Believe and continue telling the Master's story.
No money is required at this time. You are only making a covenant pledge.
Project E.M.A.I.L. will run through Oct 17, 2014. If the undisclosed bare minimum amount is reached by that date (see below), then we will proceed with the remaining 7 episodes and begin airing them in summer 2015. We'll send you an email requesting your pledged covenant amount by November 17, 2014, one month from the end of Project E.M.A.I.L.
If Oct 17th arrives and the required total has not been pledged then we will set Literal aside until we feel the prompting of the Lord to continue.

WHAT? HOW ON EARTH DID YOU PULL THAT OFF?!
I know. That's a ridiculously small amount of money especially when you consider that our award-winning short BOO! Do Something totaled $3,000 with a running time of 30 minutes. The first five episodes of Literal is comprised of over 100 minutes.
Fortunately for us God has no limits. Thus we were able to produce the first 5 episodes of Literal, now known as season one, on less than $4000 and began airing on YouTube in August 2014.
SO WHY STOP NOW?
Unfortunately, man does have limits. There are these little green pieces of paper that are always getting in the way of progress, MONEY. As you can guess we have no more of these "little green pieces of paper" and without them we're stuck. The first 5 episodes will continue to air as we originally said they would but following December, Literal will be put on hold indefinitely. We honestly don't have the funds to film another episode.
THEN WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Nothing. We can't do anything AT ALL.
It's all God now!
We have calculated the bare minimum cost to complete Literal by filming it as two seasons (it will still only be 12 episodes). That cost is more than the original amount, however, we are not going to share the needed amount with anyone just yet.
WHY MORE?
We are staring over from scratch as far as production goes. We will have to pay the transportation costs again for actors and crew. We'll have to get new locations. The overall costs, including food, props, and additional costumes, will increase due to the fact that we will be filming 7 episodes this time instead of five.
Also, there will be a new expense of the purchase or rental of a camera. The camera we have been using was borrowed (for free from a friend) but due to the delay will no longer be available for us to use.
We believe firmly that God has called us to make this project and involve others in it. But it will require your help through financial giving as well as spending the word! Furthermore, we know God will give us what He wants us to have to finish in HIS timing.
When faced with the insurmountable task of going to the king uncalled for,
Esther sought council from her cousin Mordecai.
Wisely, Mordecai stated that perhaps Esther had been brought to the throne "for such a time as this."
Perhaps you too have been brought to this situation "for such a time as this."
If God's master plan does not have us finishing this project at this time, than we believe He will hold back the funds.
However, if He desires for this message to be proclaimed at "such a time as this"
then He will burden the hearts of people to be the necessary means for this project.
He has given the scripts and/or treatments for the 7 episodes of season two.
Now is the time for the funds to appear or for Him to place a restraining hand until He deems the time is right.
What's the Big Deal About Season 2?Season one contains only 5 episodes leaving much of the story incomplete. Season two will consist of 6 episodes plus a special series finale for a total of 7 episodes to complete the tale of Literal: What We Believe.
In season 2 you will:

*revisit G.U.A.R.D to discover project S.O.U.L.
*uncover a mysterious fact about Typical Christians' leaving
*unfold more of the Master's story weaving all of S.C. TreeHouse Productions' materials (see video above for more info)
